Before becoming a member, please read our Membership Agreement. Every new member will receive a PDF version of this agreement and will be required to sign it before the end of the trial period of one month. If we don’t receive a signed copy of the agreement, your membership will be automatically cancelled.
When making your first subscription, an online account will be created. This account grants you access to the part of the sabcenter.org website in your category. This access is automatically revoked when you cancel your subscription, but your account will still be active. If you want to close your account, you may cancel it once you are logged in your membership account. If you have any question, please refer to your board member.
We have different levels membership for students and non students and different categories of professions. Each category comes with selected content announcements, activities and events. Please choose the category that is best fitted for you. You can register in several categories.
All categories offer its dedicated newsletter, dedicated access to hidden parts of the website and dedicated events with members’ 20% discount. Membership gives you a discount at checkout of the store where you are offered the possibility to convert your savings into a donation to sponsor a specific project, an artist or an event. After 6 months membership, you receive a S.A.B. Center T-Shirt and after a year membership, you receive a gift selected by our membership board. Beyond 12 month membership, you can become a board member in your category.
Membership provides a monthly financial support to the non-profit. This is a way to share all the costs and be able to keep the S.A.B. Center going. The money is used to pay website fees, CPA fees, vehicles insurance, meeting rooms, salaries. Each category is participating in a dedicated part of the S.A.B. Center activities.
If you wish to volunteer, you need to visit our volunteer page and see which activities are available. If you want to teach, please visit our activity board. If you want to become a S.A.B. Center artist or photographer, please visit our event board. If you wish to become a radio station speaker, please visit our activity board. If you want to participate or support a project, please visit our project board. If you want to support research and development or participate in our investigations and audits, please visit our lab board. If you have questions about your membership, please visit our membership board.
Students are eligible to become free members when they volunteer for at least two volunteering events or activities each month. There is a large range of volunteering activities for all kinds of students. Before they are eligible for a free membership, they have to register full price and then receive a refund when their activities have been performed. They can decide to donate their refund in order to finance a specific project or they can have a credit line for later paid activities and events. They can also demand the full refund with the membership board.

TOURS & TREKS $35
Members in this category receive the monthly newsletter dedicated to our tours and treks in Los Angeles. They also receive discounts on certains categories of products, early announcements and the possibility to make reservations before anybody else. This category can participate Religious Map outings, have access to exclusive content and participate “members only” events such restaurant outings, movie theater outings, private guided tours, outdoor meditation, stand alone shows, and group discount to access fairs, gardens and private properties.
PHOTOGRAPHERS $80
This membership will offer you the monthly newsletter dedicated to photographers where we showcase members, their artistic and professional path, their skills, projects they created in the past and projects they are working on. The newsletter is a way to exchange experience, knowledge and support each other with a dedicated community. The membership also provides an exclusive access to exhibits, fairs and art shows with the possibility for photographers to present their work and sell. We also participate conferences and provide classes where photographers can participate and volunteer.
The S.A.B. Center is developing a project of shared dark room where photographers can work on specific art projects involving development on different scales papers and materials. Members of this category can participe in the creation of the dark room and take a role as a volunteer or a teacher.
[RMPRESS] is the publishing agent of the S.A.B. Center and more specifically the religiousmap.com project. Photographers can have their photos published and showcased in our paper publications along with our studies and investigations. All publications are sold online, on Amazon, during exhibits and fairs. Members receive a discounted price on all publications labelled for Photographers members. Photographers can participate autograph sessions, talk shows and meeting with the public organized by the S.A.B. Center. Photographers have their own bio page on the S.A.B. Center website which is accessible to the public.
The Lab is conducting specific field work where photographers can volunteer or apply as a paid gig. All paid gig photographers receive a press card labelled by the S.A.B. Center. All paid gigs come with a contract of service and are only available to Photographers active members.
ARTISTS $80
This membership will offer you the monthly newsletter dedicated to artists where we showcase members, their artistic and professional path, their skills, projects they created in the past and projects they are working on. The newsletter is a way to exchange experience, knowledge and support each other with a dedicated community. The membership also provides an exclusive access to exhibits, fairs and art shows with the possibility for artists to present their work and sell. We also participate conferences and provide classes where artists can participate and volunteer.
The S.A.B. Center is developing a project of maker space where artists can work on specific art projects involving storage, specific tools and equipment. Members of this category can participe in the creation of the maker space and take a role as a volunteer or a teacher. The S.A.B. Center is providing a shared storage for artists where they can store their artwork and the S.A.B. Center is networking to find public walls in restaurants, staging companies, movie companies and clubs in order to showcase artwork and sell. The S.A.B. Center is maintaining a database similar to Artwork Archive, but exclusive to its members where we can track artists studios, their work and help them sell.
We particularly encourage ceramists, watercolor artists, pencil artists, fashion designers, and interior designers to join our community in order to support each other in creating better businesses and sales. This membership is like joining a family, without competition, without commercial bounds and with a particular desire in encouraging every talents.
ARCHITECTS $120
This membership will offer you the monthly newsletter dedicated to architects where we showcase members, their artistic and professional path, their skills, projects they created in the past and projects they are working on. The newsletter is a way to exchange experience, knowledge and support each other with a dedicated community. The membership also provides an exclusive access to exhibits, fairs and art shows with the possibility for architects to represent their projects. We also participate conferences and provide classes where architects can participate and volunteer.
The S.A.B. Center is developing a Label ISO 26000 on social responsibility. Members in this category can participate our meetings, work sessions, advocate projects with jury members, become a jury member, participate conferences to promote the label, participate exhibits and fairs, sell their drawings, auction their mockup projects on behalf of the non-profit, participate in talk shows, Youtube interviews and classes.
This membership offers free materials to learn more about social responsibility and how the S.A.B. Center is developing its audits, investigations and research. With online classes, members can learn all the scopes of the label ISO 26000 on social responsibility, how to conduct a pre-development project in accordance with the label ISO 26000, how to communicate with clients, how to convince developers and investors. All materials are a collection of experiences shared between its members.
The S.A.B. Center is maintaining a dedicated documentation and is partnering with public libraries and universities to help them create a shelf dedicated to social responsibility in architecture. The monthly membership pays for the salary of a full time employee to collect information, visit libraries, assist them with a list of books and articles, support smaller libraries with the donation of books and collect donations from dedicated donors. The S.A.B. Center librarian employee is dedicated to its members in order to conduct research and manage to find books. All members have a direct hotline to help them with their projects.
The members in this category can participate in the creation of the maker space where they can access shared tools and spaces. The S.A.B. Center is partnering with sawmills, wood yards and contractors in order to provide a network of spaces where they can build prototypes, mockups and large staged demonstration projects. Members of this category can become teachers, tutors for homeless and international students and receive discounted or free membership for the time they are tutoring.
DEVELOPERS $500
Developers provide a direct support to the community in exchange of receiving a dense and informative newsletter about pre-development projects, concept projects, demonstration programs, prototypes and experiences with Research and Development activities, benchmarking and analysis of press information. They receive an insight on our investigations, our audits, our documentaries and our movies. They assist premier shows, corporate dinners and gala.
The cost of the membership covers the S.A.B. Center salaries for the Lab, the projects and the ISO 26000 network of libraries. This membership also helps finance trips all around the US to conduct interviews and docu series on Youtube. The cost of the membership can be waived in exchange for meeting spaces, conference rooms and printing services for our brochures. The more members of this category are active to help us promote the label ISO 26000, the more we can waive a percentage of the membership. Conditions are agreed with the board members and a contract of service is legally binding each parties.
CONTRACTORS $500
This membership receives the monthly newsletter dedicated to contractors where the S.A.B. Center showcases experiments, prototypes, studies, investigations, reports, fairs and exhibits organized in partnership with the members of this category.
This membership offers a discounted V.I.P. access to our classes in order to train contractors on new and innovative technologies featuring social responsibility, architectural studies, the ISO 26000 label and our Research and Development projects.
Contractors can waive all or part of their membership by participating our maker space network, host events or participate in our academic trainings as hosts and teachers. Conditions are agreed with the board members and a contract of service is legally binding each parties.
WOOD AND FOREST PRODUCTS $500
The S.A.B. Center is conducting intensive research on the social and economical impact of wood and forest products. This membership offers an insight on all and every approach of our Research and Development programs, why we do it, how we investigate, where, and networking with professionals, this membership offers the possibility to corporate companies and small businesses to share their experience and their opinion on the S.A.B. Center activities. The monthly newsletter is a gathering of all insights which is exclusive to members in this category.
All or part of the membership fees can be waived in exchange of hosting tours and events such visiting sawmills, visiting forest, accepting interviews, hosting art shows and exhibits, hosting members outdoor gatherings and activities, hosting artists in residence, hosting photographers, participating in our audits and investigations, sharing information, participating talk shows and participating our Youtube channel. Conditions are agreed with the board members and a contract of service is legally binding each parties.
Members in this category who maintain a RV space specifically for the S.A.B. Center members, and reserve this space at least 5 days a month, receive 50% discount or $50 discount for each member up to 10 each month. With this operation, we want to promote rural areas and the public learning from the social impact of wood products.
The S.A.B. Center develops intensive documentation which is provided to each member in this category in order to help them promote their activities and their products in accordance with the label ISO 26000.
OTHER CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS $500
The S.A.B. Center is conducting intensive research on the social and economical impact of construction processes and products. This membership offers an insight on all and every approach of our Research and Development programs, why we do it, how we investigate, where, and networking with professionals, this membership offers the possibility to corporate companies and small businesses to share their experience and their opinion on the S.A.B. CITY AND GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVES $1000
This membership offers full access to our projects board meetings and information via zoom or in person during our conferences. Members in this category get a free access to all our public representations and receive a primary insight at our calendar of events.
Some projects can be submitted to a vote where members of this category can participate and we organize private seminaries and work groups where members of this category may be invited.
There is no fee waiver in this category, but members can have access to our documentation, our libraries and our archives. We require a confidentiality contract with this category of members.
OTHER NON-PROFITS REPRESENTATIVES $1000
In order to facilitate collaboration, we created this category where other non-profit representative can have access to our documentation, newsletters, libraries and archives in order to help them in their own field of work and promote the ISO 26000 label.
There is no fee waiver in this category and we require a confidentiality contract with this category of members.
VOLUNTEERS $35
Some volunteers do not belong or do not want to belong any category. This membership is for them, where they can apply to volunteering activities and especially in support of the S.A.B. Center vital representations such organizing exhibits, giving a hand for fairs, setting up a booth or representing the S.A.B. Center during live events.
This membership offers the possibility to meet other volunteers, participate gatherings and be involved in the volunteers newsletter to promote volunteering and its role for the non-profit. Volunteers benefit the many discounts the S.A.B. Center is offering on a variety of products.
SPONSORING MEMBERS $2500 minimum
Actors, movie makers, producers, real estate administrators, corporations can support the S.A.B. Center activities with this membership. It helps to pay salaries, gig jobs, services, equipment, documentaries, short movies, investigations, talk shows and our Youtube channel. Members can register for a month or more and receive all other categories newsletters. Sponsors receive all V.I.P privileges during exhibits, conferences, galas, workshops, outings and globally, all events. They receive a free access for 2 events each month for two people.
